Pan fountain pen factory was open in the beggining of 1950 in Siggerud by farmer Arne Karlsrud.
Arne buildt a small factory in 1946 with areal of 221 m2. In april 1950 there was only 10 people working in the factory. Just within april-mai they planned to produce 10.000 fountain pens!
They produced reasonable everyday fountain pens for students, as well as higher quality gift pens in various materials and filling systems - mainly button fillers and piston fillers. Some mechanisms were made inhouse while others were purchased from Denmark and Germany.
Factory ran until the beggining of the '90s.
